Meetings, Minutes and Agendas

In 2021 Parish Council meetings take place on the third Thursday of every month except August and December. All meetings take place at 7.30pm at Barnham Broom Village Hall, Norwich Road, Barnham Broom, NR9 4BU (what three words: ///remit.trembles.whistling).

Agendas will be published by the weekend before a Thursday meeting on both the website and the village noticeboard at the Post Office. Documents associated with the agenda are also published on the website. Draft minutes will be published on the website usually within 2-3 weeks of the meeting. The final version of the minutes are published once they have been approved at the next council meeting.

The press and public are welcome to attend Council meetings. Members of the public cannot participate in discussions on agenda items without approval from the Chair, however a short period of time is given for members of the public at each meeting for them to discuss their views on matters directly related to the Parish Council.

Actions cannot be taken on matters raised by the public. Should the council consider any items raised require further discussion, or action, the matter will be tabled as a formal agenda item for the next Parish Council meeting. ​If there is an issue you would like the Parish Council to consider, please contact the Parish Clerk in the first instance, at least 14 days before the next meeting.
