Norfolk County Council - Proposal to Build the Norwich Western Link

Norfolk County Council are proposing to build the Norwich Western Link road between the Broadland Northway (NDR) at its junction with the A1067 Fakenham Road and the A47 at Honingham.

The Council are continuing to monitor progress of the Norwich Western Link project and are represented by Councillors on the Norwich Western Link Local Liaison group and the South of the A47 working group. Councillors feed back from these meetings via Parish Council meetings. The Council are actively working to ensure that any impacts of the Norwich Western Link on the village, such as increased rat running, are addressed and mitigation's are implemented. As well as attending meetings, the Council also respond to all consultations in relation to the project, will actively share project updates with residents to raise awareness, and are working with other local parishes and stakeholders to ensure the villages views are taken into account.
